Track, field and road running in Malta.
Malta’s Danica Bonello Spiteri finished second in her age group at the World Triathlon Age-Group Sprint Championships in Pontevedra, Spain. The sprint course covered a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
It adds to a strong season that included European age-group sprint gold in Tarragona. Congratulations, Danica! 🇲🇹🥈
View the event results ↗Athletics Malta has confirmed three 5K races and three 10K races, beginning with the Nadur 10K on 1 November. The calendar also includes national championships at Ta’ Qali. Registration is open through affiliated clubs.
Jared Micallef won the 800m in 1:47.50 and Matthew Galea Soler took the 400m in 47.61 at the Donato Sabia memorial meeting in Lauria on 9 September.
